<p>Maximize the capability of your 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ with this 4.5-inch lift kit with long arm conversion from BDS Suspension. Designed to improve stance this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 32" tires. By maximizing the length of both the upper and lower control arms, BDS has minimized caster change for optimal handling and minimized road forces. The control arm geometry is setup with a massive belly pan that incorporates the link mounts and is built to smash rocks. Believe it or not, this system is completely bolt-on with no welding to the unibody required!</p> <p>Up front the lift kit includes a belly pan with new pivot mounts, heavy duty lower flex arms and adjustable upper flex arms to optimize handling characteristics, 4.5" Pro-Ride coil springs capable of full coil bind and bump stop extensions to control the compression travel, but increase wheel travel. Also included are braided stainless steel brake lines, ultimate sway bar disconnects, and front adjustable track bar with flex joint fits into the existing frame mount to improve the steering and handling geometry.</p> <p>The rear kit utilizes Glide-Ride leaf springs for maximum travel and stainless braided brake line to allow the springs to flex. Finish off the kit with your choice of specially tuned NX2 nitro series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP performance series gas shocks to offer improved damper performance.</p> <h2>Long Arm Conversion</h2> <p>Upgrading the standard control arms to a long arm adds strength, improves handling and takes offroad articulation to the next level. This upgrade consists of massive 1/4" steel frame mounted brackets to install the oversized upper and lower formed long arms. The arms are formed for maximum tire clearance and allow the stock control arm tabs to remain on the vehicle.
